The Employees’ Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal (EPFAT) is the statutory appellate authority constituted under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. The Tribunal hears appeals against orders passed by Provident Fund authorities relating to coverage, assessment of dues, damages, interest, and other compliance issues, ensuring fair adjudication and protection of statutory rights.
